Washington Beef, Inc. of Toppenish, Washington is the newest partner of the Red Angus FCCP. Due to a tremendous amount of Red Angus cattle in the northwestern U.S., it was the desire of the RAAA to help provide a stronger marketing option for Red Angus cattle as finished animals. Because Washington Beef is the largest independent beef processor in the Pacific Northwest and has a strong commitment to high quality markets, they are a perfect match with the FCCP for this area of the country.
Through Washington Beef's program, certified Red Angus cattle can supply:
- Washington Beef
- Imperial Angus Beef
- St. Helens Beef
The pricing of certified Red Angus cattle can be done by:
- Red Angus Marketing Agreement
- Cash bids
